Great location for a short stay.
* Great location with fantastic restaurants and cafes nearby. For example, Grandes carnicerias del plata for steak, Obrador de Panes & Galletas for brunch, EL Hornero de San Telmo for empanadas, etc. * Friendly staff
* The shower booth was too small. * The bed wasn’t comfortable. * No coffee machine or kettle in the room. Wish that they served coffee at the property.

What was the highlight of UPOINT San Telmo
Lovely but overpriced
Perfect location in San Telmo. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. They had someone meet us when we arrived late in the evening (around midnight) and also stored our luggage when we had a late flight out.
The main issue is that they charge you in USD, not pesos, even though that's technically illegal in Argentina. This resulted in the hotel costing roughly twice what everything other accommodation cost me on the trip (it appeared to be on par with other hotels on Booking.com when I reserved, b/c Booking was using the 'official' rate instead of tourist / MEP for estimates. All other hotels charged me in pesos so my actual costs were much less). For that reason alone, I cannot recommend this hotel as you can find comparable hotels for MUCH less (although with the newly revised official rate, they might be forced to change their rates to compete). Other issues were weak AC (the room was boiling our first night), no hair dryer, and a very small shower that was difficult for my 6'4" husband to use, but these were minor complaints compared to the exorbitant cost of this hotel.

Great Location
The location was great! The price was very reasonable. They arranged a tranfer from the airport and it was seemless.
There was no breakfast. Was told there was to be coffee available but there was not. Ran out of toilet paper, found it hard to get towels. At night when the wind blows, the iron grates outside my room banged so loudly I could not get to sleep even wearing earplugs and holding a pillow over my head. There was almost never anyone at the front desk.
